01

What we supply

New, reconditioned and bespoke pallets in the specifications UK businesses actually order. If you know the size, tell us the size. If you only know what goes on it and where it is going, describe that and we will match the spec.

Stock varies by type and grade, so quantity and date are confirmed at the point of quoting rather than assumed.

UK standard1200 × 1000 mm
The default four-way pallet for most UK pallet racking and general distribution. New and reconditioned.
Euro footprint1200 × 800 mm
The Continental footprint. A 1200 × 800 mm pallet is not automatically an EPAL pallet — the size alone is not the specification.
EPALLicensed and marked
Built to the EPAL specification and carrying EPAL markings. Ask for EPAL by name where your customer or process requires it.
CP1–CP9Chemical and industrial
The chemical industry range, each number a defined size and build. Tell us the CP number your customer specifies.
PlasticWashdown and closed loop
Hygienic, dimensionally consistent and repeatedly cleanable. Used in food, pharmaceutical and closed-loop circuits.
PresswoodLightweight, nestable
Moulded, nestable and light. Efficient for one-way movements and where storage space is short.
BespokeBuilt to specification
Non-standard sizes, extra bearers, heavier boards or specific load requirements. Send dimensions and load and we will price it.

Supply and delivery

One-off loads for a single job, bulk orders where the price per pallet matters, and recurring deliveries where the same specification arrives on the same day each week. Account supply means you order against an agreed spec instead of re-quoting.

One-off loads
A part or full load when a job needs pallets and you do not want an ongoing arrangement.
Bulk orders
Full loads priced per pallet, with the delivery window agreed in advance.
Recurring and account
A fixed specification and volume on a repeating schedule, with collection of empties aligned where it helps.
Same-day
Same-day delivery may be available for orders placed before 10am, subject to stock, vehicle availability, order size and destination. We will tell you honestly when it is not possible.

03

Collection and recycling

We collect surplus, damaged and unwanted pallets from business premises. Deliveries in generate empties, and empties stacked outside a loading door are floor space you are paying for.

We do not normally send a vehicle for fewer than 10 pallets. Below that it is usually better to accumulate, or to align collection with a delivery.

Depending on type, condition, quantity and location, pallets may have a value. That is not a promise to buy every pallet — tell us what you have and we will tell you which applies to yours.

  1. First — reuseA sound pallet goes back into circulation as it is. It is the cheapest and lowest impact outcome for everyone.
  2. Second — repairA broken board or a damaged bearer is replaced and the pallet returns to service as a reconditioned unit.
  3. Third — recycleWhat cannot be repaired is processed for timber recovery rather than sent to landfill.

Export and ISPM15

Wood packaging in international trade

ISPM15 is an international standard covering the treatment and marking of wood packaging material used in international trade — pallets, cases, crates and dunnage. Compliant material is treated to the standard and carries the recognised mark.

ISPM15 and the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation are separate requirements. An ISPM15 mark addresses the phytosanitary treatment of the wood; it does not satisfy every EU packaging rule, and neither replaces the other.

Requirements differ by destination, commodity and the terms of the movement, and they change. Confirm what applies to your specific movement — with your freight forwarder or the destination authority — and tell us the outcome. We will supply to the specification you confirm. We do not offer legal advice or guarantees on compliance.

Chichester means industry

Chichester reads as a cathedral city and a Georgian high street. The working economy behind it is different: manufacturing is the largest single sector in Chichester District at around 15% of the economy, and it sits alongside growing, food processing and chilled distribution.

The district has roughly 167 hectares of glasshouse — the largest concentration in England. That produces steady, seasonal volumes of packed goods that move on pallets, and it feeds local food processing and cold chain work.

The A27 is the only east–west strategic road south of the M25, and goods vehicles make up more than 15% of its traffic. Everything that leaves the district on a pallet uses it.

Where the work is

  • Terminus RoadThe city's main industrial estate, behind the railway line.
  • Quarry LaneLight industrial and trade units south-east of the centre.
  • Gravel Lane and TimberlaineWorkshops, engineering and trade supply.
  • Glenmore Business ParkPortfield, off the A27 at the eastern roundabouts.
  • St James Industrial EstateWesthampnett Road, east of the city.
  • Chichester Food ParkFood production and chilled distribution.
  • Chichester Business ParkTangmere, east of the bypass.

Getting to your site

Operational detail, not local colour — it decides delivery windows

A27 bypass
Dual carriageway, but it meets the local network at at-grade roundabouts at Fishbourne, Stockbridge, Whyke, Bognor Road, Portfield and Oving Road. It flows well between junctions and queues at them, so booked windows are planned around the roundabouts rather than the mileage.
Level crossings
The crossings by Stockbridge Road and Basin Road sit right at the entrance to the Terminus Road estate. A closed barrier holds a loaded vehicle within sight of the gate, so deliveries there are planned with that in mind.
Manhood Peninsula
Selsey, the Witterings, Birdham and the marina have effectively one route in and out via the Stockbridge roundabout. When that route is slow, the whole peninsula is affected together, not one village.
Bosham
Shore Road floods on high tides. Deliveries to that side are timed away from the tide rather than diverted at the last minute.

Not sure which pallet you need? Answer a few questions about the load, the destination and how often it moves, and we will tell you the specification to order.

09

Questions we get asked

Can you deliver pallets to Chichester tomorrow?

Usually, subject to stock and vehicle availability. Tell us the type, quantity, postcode and the date you need them and we will confirm what is available before you commit. Same-day delivery may be available for orders placed before 10am, subject to stock, vehicle availability, order size and destination — we never guarantee it.

Is a 1200 × 800 mm pallet an EPAL pallet?

No. 1200 × 800 mm is the Euro footprint, which describes the size. EPAL is a licensed specification with defined timber, fixings and construction, and licensed pallets carry EPAL markings. If your customer or process requires EPAL, ask for EPAL specifically.

Do you buy unwanted pallets?

Depending on type, condition, quantity and location, pallets may have a value. Some do, some are cost-neutral to remove and some carry a handling charge. Send us the type, rough condition, quantity and postcode and we will tell you which applies to yours.

What is the minimum for a collection?

We do not normally send a vehicle for fewer than 10 pallets. If you produce smaller volumes, it is usually better to accumulate them and book a collection when you have a worthwhile quantity, or align collection with a delivery.

Do you supply pallets for export?

Yes. Wood packaging used in international trade generally needs to be treated and marked to ISPM15. Tell us the destination and we will confirm what is available for that movement.

Can you supply the same pallet every week?

Yes. Recurring deliveries and account supply are straightforward once we know the specification, the volume and the delivery window. You then order against an agreed spec rather than re-quoting each time.

Are you based in Chichester?

No. We have no premises, depot or office in Chichester. We supply Chichester and the PO18, PO19 and PO20 districts from our South Coast network.

Need pallets in Chichester?

Tell us the type, quantity, postcode and required date and we'll confirm the available options. If you have pallets to clear as well, say so and we will look at both together.
